The soundbite is that only the “rich” will pay more while the rest of the nation will save money and the government will pay debt. But why not institute a modified 9-9-9 tax plan? Why, in all the discussions on-going in Congress currently, is there no consideration to a plan that potentially improves the economy, and pays down the debt?
