mid-term elections

Failures in 2018 mid-terms start early

What you should know about Dan Livingston, House Majority PAC, and Balanced Budget Amendment (H.J. Res 2)

Even before the 2018 mid-term elections have become a curiosity in the minds of the public, some politicians are already pushing 30 second soundbites that omit and manipulate facts. We look at New York, from the local (Binghamton City Council race) to the federal (NY-22 congressional race), for a few examples of the misleading of the public. Rep. Richard Hanna attacks with “bait & switch” tactic to avoid voters – repost 4/24/14

Leadership is not about winning every battle or being right in every debate, its about decisiveness in the face of ambiguity. Once again Rep. Hanna assumes that the public is too dumb to see his actions for what they are, and he hopes (I believe) that they are too apathetic to take action in the Primary in June. I believe he is wrong on both counts.
