Covid-19: Costs and consequences start now

April 24, 2020 – NO Soundbites Allowed – As the revelation that millions in New York City alone, and likely tens of millions worldwide, already survived Coronavirus (Covid-19) we ask was it worth the cost? A global recession. Billions in tax revenue for New York State alone. But what else?

Because when Covid-19 (Coronavirus) returns in the 2020 winter are we willing to do this again? Will the world shutdown, or just ignore it like the flu? Will Governments – local to the international – ever return the Rights taken in just a month. All very serious questions.

There are few answers, though there are many examples of abuse. From Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez planting seed to economically subjugate the poor to the rewrite of history by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Meanwhile tens of millions are without work and businesses lack guidance on how to recover from the on-going desolation.

Where the US goes from here will be telling.
