Exclusive Interview: The first race to be announced for 2019 in Broome County, New York was the District Attorney race. In early January a candidate from the Republican Party made themselves known to the public. In February, the current Senior Assistant District Attorney, Michael Korchak, also a Republican stepped forward with his intention to run for that same race. We spoke one-on-one with ADA Korchak about his past experience, the race and possible primary, as well as the potential future if he wins the District Attorney seat.
