Dear Friends and Neighbors,
First and foremost, let me wish you and your families a merry Christmas and the happiest of holidays. I hope and will strive to say this with you in person, but for those that I cannot, know you are close to my heart in these festive days.
As we are coming to the end of a hectic year, filled with many surprises both good and bad, I am looking both at the recent past and the potential future. Through all the challenges we faced, together and individually, we have stood tall. It was not always easy, but we walk into 2019 unbowed and unbroken.
Still we cannot avoid the reality that we have taken some harsh blows. I choose to look at that as doors of opportunity opening. We have been shown areas where we can improve and grow. 2019 is our chance to display that cultivated wisdom.
One of the opportunities that is before us is to address how we are portrayed to the masses. The general public (who sporadically follow politics), members of the press, and some politicians of all Parties have noted in honest moments that much of the major news and social media has taken a very oppressive view against us – the part of the population that is not a Progressive or Socialist. We all grew aggravated as the year progressed, as every elected official and candidate sharing our views was savaged – many on a daily basis. Several lesser media outlets were only shades better.
Thankfully, we are no longer restricted to the whims of media organizations and the agendas that they may hold. At least that is my view, and why I have strived for so many years to provide an additional option. And there has been success in this endeavor at many levels.
Looking to 2019, with your help, I hope to make this not only an option but a true competition. With your support we can expand the scope and reach, and balance the media and social media playing field. The foundation is there, we just need to build on it.
Thus I ask you to lend a hand. Together we can climb mountains and clear a path through the jungle of misrepresentation surrounding us. Together there is no heavy lifting needed.
If you agree, and want to grow our voices and expand our options it’s easy to add your support. When on social media or the internet in your daily or weekly activities, take a moment to visit one (or all) of my sites – Mvass.com or VassPolitical.Podbean.com. Take a moment to check out the content there, read an article or listen to a podcast on your drive to/from work or shopping. Like and Share content that you enjoyed, that raised an important question, that addressed an issue important to you.
It’s that simple. And you can guarantee we can do more. With a non-tax deductible donation of just $5 (or more if you wish), together we can get commercials on cable and the internet. For just $25 together we can expand staff and upgrade our technology – allowing us to reach even more people that share our views but haven’t given an opportunity to hear them.
Without your support, our lights grow dim and our voices can’t be heard. Given the onslaught being prepared for 2019 and 2020 – at the local, State, and Federal levels – it’s an outcome we cannot allow to happen.
I thank you for taking a moment to share some time with me. I appreciate the support you have given, to get us to this point. But now, in 2019 and well beyond, is our time to shine in unison.

Sincerely wishing the best over the holidays,
