Facebook Commentary: Anthony Brindisi’s trend to avoid voters and the truth

This is the verbatim commentary found on Facebook on June 24, 2018.

When you see something once, it can be random chance. Twice is an odd coincidence. But 3x’s? That’s a trend.

It was April 25th, in Norwich NY, that Anthony Brindisi had a “town hall” type event – organized by the Chairman of the Democrat Party, filled with supporters that traveled with Brindisi almost like Deadheads following the Grateful Dead. At that event, as stated by witnesses here on Facebook, on talk radio and other media, Brindisi flipped his position on gun control and avoided direct answers on taxes and protecting farmers.

It was May 21st, in Binghamton NY, that Anthony Brindisi was at the VFW. In an event filled with union and Citizen Action members, Brindisi dodge questions on the on-going 6 month+ scandal in Utica based on his emails (found due to FOIA) and taking away homes from constituents via eminent domain. He then attacked a constituent for asking a question, about his promise to generate 2,000 jobs, spending millions of tax dollars in the process, which failed to create more than a dozen jobs. This time proof was available: Audio recording of Brindisi live and the transcript of Brindisi

And now we see, via the Rome Sentinel, that on May 27th, in Little Falls, NY, that once again a “town hall” was actually a Democrat event. Once again we see that Anthony Brindisi dodged constituent questions on the 2nd Amendment and gun control and how he threatened constituents in the publicly printed FOIA emails.

How much more proof does the public need? How many times more will Anthony Brindisi dodge questions of the very same constituents that Nancy Pelosi is attempting to buy via biased partisan commercials?

Anthony Brindisi, as a candidate and Assemblyman, is obligated to answer constituents on his record. Voters deserve and must be given clear and consistent answers on the critical issues affecting their lives – like if Brindisi will support the job-killing tax increase promised publicly multiple times by Pelosi and Sen. Schumer (A question he has dodged in “town halls” and on WUTQ several times).

After more than a year on the campaign trail, in between Assembly votes supporting the likely corrupt Gov. Cuomo and Due Process obliterating Red Flag Bills, while accepting donations from disgraced admitted sexual assaulter former-Sen. Al Franken (accused of eight counts of sexual misconduct*), the public is even more in the dark about who really is Anthony Brindisi and what he stands for – if anything besides trying to win an election under dubious means.

The trend is clear, Anthony Brindisi is trying to deceive the public. The facts are out there. Well past time voters got the truth before the election.

** CORRECTION – an error was made in the original article. Al Franken denied some of the allegations of sexual misconduct, and stated he “never intentionally engaged in that kind of conduct.” He did resign, after Sen. Schumer called for his resignation along with other Democrats in December 2017, on January 2, 2018 with these allegations unresolved. **
