As we recently stated, the Central New York 2012 election races are heating up. We have been informed of another politician that is moving forward with their election prospects. In this case it is Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo.
“Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo (D-Endwell) will hold her 7th annual Blues & BBQ fundraiser from 5:30-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, at En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott, NY. Last year, over 300 supporters attended the event.”
Thus far that means that there will be a contest for the 22nd Congressional seat currently held by Rep. Maurice Hinchey by challenger George Phillips, and Assemblywoman Lupardo will be staking her claim on the NY 126th district that she currently represents.
As always, we take no sides in an election. We will provide the facts, and events as we become aware of them. We encourage voters to review the voting records, statements and campaign promises of all the candidates (incumbent or not). Be informed and make whatever choice you believe is right.
As we have done previously, we will provide the link to the fundraising for Assemblywoman Lupardo as we did for George Phillips. You can make donations for Assemblywoman Lupardo at her campaign website. For information about the Blues event, you can call (607) 205-8326.
