The formal launch of Jason Garnar’s campaign for the Broome County Executive seat took place at the Atomic Cafe in Binghamton NY, surrounded by many Democrat leaders including Councilwoman Dani Cronce, Councilman Conrad Taylor, Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo and many others.
There is no question that State Senator Fred Akshar ran a solid campaign. But there is also no clear answer why the Barbara Fiala campaign was so poor in every aspect.
We received mailings from both candidates in the 2015 NY 52nd State Senate special election, and reviewed those mailings as compared to their campaign websites. It is not the purpose of this article to take a side in the race. The point is to highlight what the candidates must discuss and the public should learn more about.
