The 2011 Binghamton Flood – Sept 8, 2011

The City of Binghamton has been under a State of Emergency since Sept 7th. But with the rains having stopped for the time being, the danger has not passed. In fact residents should be prepared for a long-haul.

As of 2pm on Sept 8th, Downtown Binghamton is being actively evacuated , as well as West State Street, Riverside Drive, and all areas up to 2 blocks from Front Street along the river. This is all for good reason. We have video and photos to follow.
